Information, not advice
movingaveragealerts.com publishes the same impersonal market data for everyone: which side of a moving average a fund closed on, when that changed, and how often. It does not consider your situation and does not recommend buying, selling or holding anything. Nothing here is investment, tax or legal advice, and the site's keeper is not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer or fiduciary. Decisions you make with this information are yours alone.
The data
Closes come from publicly available sources and are read once a day after the market closes. They can be late, revised or wrong, and the site can miss a day. The averages and the dates are computed by the method described on the method page; other sources use other conventions and will show other dates. Check anything you intend to act on against your own broker's data.
No warranty
The site and its emails are provided as they are, with no warranty of accuracy, completeness, timeliness or availability. Alerts may arrive late or not at all; the daily read may fail; the site may be changed or shut down. To the fullest extent the law allows, the keeper is not liable for any loss arising from the use of, or reliance on, anything published or sent by the site.
Your use
You may read the pages and receive the emails for your own use. You may not scrape, mirror or redistribute the site's data as a feed or product, submit addresses that are not yours to the alert form, or interfere with the site's operation. Email addresses you submit must be your own, and the site confirms each one before sending anything.
Changes and law
These terms may change; the review date at the top moves when they do. They are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which the keeper resides. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest stands.
